The role
As a Go-to-Market Associate at Grain, you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth, refining our sales processes, onboarding new customers to ensure their success, and experimenting in new ways to generate leads. Your primary focus will be to execute demos, manage your sales pipeline to close deals, refine our sales playbook, and support the marketing team in growing leads.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align on lead generation and reporting, while maintaining and optimizing our HubSpot CRM. You’ll also work with the Head of Operations to help retain key accounts and build scalable CS motions.

While the Sales, Customer Success, and product development teams all use Grain, we’re focused on Sales and building an AI Assistant for Account Executives to help them close more deals.

What you will do
- Sales Execution: Conduct demo calls, manage follow-ups, and drive deals to close.
- Onboarding: Ensure new customers are set up for success, providing guidance and resources to help them hit the ground running.
- Process Development: Update and refine our sales playbook to enhance team effectiveness.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimize HubSpot CRM, including building sequences and generating reports.
- Key Account Retention & Scalable CS: Work with key accounts to understand their needs and ensure they’re getting value through training, adoption, and implementation. Collaborate with Head of Ops to build scalable processes that help longer-tail customers be successful using AI and automation tools.
- Lead Generation: Experiment on new ways to grow our lead base
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align on MQLs and optimize the sales lead funnel.
Who you are
- Experience: 0-2 years of business experience (we’re OK with people right out of college if you’ve had internships or any entrepreneurship experience).
- Customer-Focused: You enjoy connecting with people and thrive in customer-facing roles where you can build relationships and make an impact.
- Versatile Problem-Solver: You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and tackling diverse challenges to drive results. You have a knack for identifying inefficiencies, developing strategies, and creating repeatable systems to improve outcomes.
